A dry start to the evening in Moray and north Aberdeenshire otherwise outbreaks of rain, some on the heavy side with fresh easterly winds. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Friday:

A dull damp start, misty near eastern coasts. Brightening up with sunny intervals and a few heavy showers in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

The weekend unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain, but some sunshine too. Probably fewer showers on Monday
