ACI Airport Exchange, 26-28 November 2012, Amsterdam

We will be exhibiting at Stand No 69 at this years Airport Exchange exhibition at the Amsterdam Rai Conference Centre, where we will be demonstrating our airport weather solutions

  • OpenRunway: a forecasting package to help keep runways open and running safely and smoothly. It enables airports to plan effectively and keep one step ahead of changing weather conditions.
  • WeatherWindows: a planning tool allowing weather dependant tasks to be planned up to 15 days ahead, displaying the best time periods when tasks can be carried out.

Airport Operators Association Annual Conference and Exhibition, 22-23 October 2012, London

The Met Office has been an Associate Member of the AOA for a number of years, however, for the first time this year we exhibited at their annual conference and exhibition to demonstrate our airport weather solutions. Our OpenRunway and WeatherWindows products were shortlisted for awards at the Annual Conference Dinner.

Airport IT&T Conference 2012, 19-11 October 2012, Munich

We exhibited at International Airport Review's 2nd annual Airport IT&T conference at the Municon Conference Centre in Munich, Germany, where we provided live demonstrations of our airport weather solutions.

European Regional Airlines General Assembly, 19-21 September 2012, Dublin

As an Associate Member of the ERA the Met Office exhibited at this years General Assembly at the Convention Centre Dublin. Thank you to all those that met us at our stand and saw demonstrations of our airline solutions:

  • ClearFlight: a pre-flight briefing service created specifically for flight operations and dispatch teams, helping you to optimise flight operations through efficient planning and anticipation of weather related delays at airports anywhere in the world.
  • Airline De-icing Service: A unique service offering forecasts of aircraft icing conditions for airports worldwide. This service has been proven to reduce icing delays by 84% and costs by up to 30%.
