General Aviation services
We aim to provide you with the best service possible to improve flight safety and we're continually looking at how we can improve and refine our General Aviation services.
Our entire range of GA services for private pilots has now been upgraded, giving you tablet and mobile friendly access to the most comprehensive UK aviation weather source available for pilots. The easy to use platform with a range of new features includes access to the most up-to-the-minute information and NEW aerodrome warnings - available freely for private pilots for the first time.
Having now spent some time looking at the latest incarnation of the site I think you have got it pretty well spot on. There is not so much wasted white space and the TAFS and METARs print well, just about getting a page of TAFs on one side of a sheet of A4. The site is logical and easy to navigate. I have not been able to try it on a flaky mobile connection but for the initial 'brief and print' before I leave home it is ideal and will be my first port of call for weather information. Well done for listening to the customer and responding accordingly.
The old GA product has now been retired. Our new services are running on a new platform, so you will need to create a new account.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!... I just wanted to commend the web development team for their work and improvements to the GA site. They have done a great job with iteratively making the site look and function really well. They should be very proud of what they have achieved and I hope they continue the good work. The improved design makes pre-flight planning for pilots considerably easier. Well done!
