To improve the forecasting and awareness of aviation weather impact variables and to review new developments in aeronautical meteorology using the aeronautical meteorological forecaster guidelines as described in WMO-No. 258, Supplement 1: Training and Qualification Requirements for Aeronautical Meteorological Personnel.

These standards have been adopted by ICAO to ensure best practice worldwide. The Met Office fully endorses and adheres to these standards. All courses are delivered in the English language.
