Professor Nigel Arnell is Director of the Walker Institute for Climate Change Research and is Professor of Climate System Science in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading.

Advanced Research Fellow, Tyndall Centre
An Advanced Research Fellow at the Tyndall Centre, University of East Anglia, Norwich and Leader of Workstream 1 for the Avoid Project delivering estimates of climate consequences, impacts and mitigation strategies.

Simon Buckle
Policy Director at the Grantham Institute for Climate Change Research
Simon is Policy Director at the Grantham Institute and his recent work has focussed on climate economics and mitigation, international climate policy and on ecosystem services.

Paul van der Linden
AVOID Programme Manager
Paul van der Linden is the AVOID Programme Manager at the Met Office's Hadley Centre. He was also Director of the ENSEMBLES project, a large climate research programme in Europe.

Maria Noguer
AVOID Knowledge Integrator, Walker institute
After working on regional climate modelling for the Met Office Hadley Centre, she worked as an editor on IPCC Assessment Reports. She spent some time working in Defra advising policymakers on the science of climate change.
