to enable building designers and users to relate a building's
energy consumption to the weather
- Helping you to monitor energy saving measures, and to plan
and use buildings more effectively
- Particularly useful for building heating purposes
- Available for 18 regions across the UK
- Data are complied monthly and are normally published within
five working days of the end of the previous month
The base temperature used is 15.5 °C, and four sets of figures
are provided for each region:
- Actual value for the month
- Monthly mean value
- The relationship between the actual figure and mean value,
expressed as a percentage
- Values for the corresponding month in the previous year
