Marathon weather

The 26th London marathon takes place this Sunday, 23 April. Met Office forecasters are predicting a rather cloudy marathon with some showery rain. However drier, brighter intervals are also likely. Winds will be light, and temperatures rising from 10 or 11C to around 14 or 15C. The panel below provides a guide to the likelihood of rain through the race.

Predicted likelihood of rain through the race: 9 a.m. 70%, Noon 70%, 3 p.m. 50%
