The Met Office was named as one of the UK’s top graduate employers in a survey of over 15,000 final-year students at over 30 universities across the UK. The survey, published in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers handbook, asked undergraduate students which employer offers the best opportunities for graduates.

Numerical computer models form the basis of all our forecasts, including climate change and seasonal, and are constantly being developed by our researchers so that we can predict the weather and climate with ever greater accuracy.
