How to spot clouds

A look at the main types of cloud and the weather that they bring

Cloudspotting guide
How do clouds form? How can you identify the different clouds? In this video, James Chubb explains the main three cloud types and how to spot them.

Along with this video we have produced a downloadable poster for students to print off.  They can then go outside record how many different type of cloud they can spot over the coming weeks.

They will have to look at different parts of the sky to see different clouds and they won't all be visible at once, however they could see a few of them in one day.
