Our solutions

We can provide a comprehensive range of weather services which can be fed into your energy demand models to help you balance supply and demand. Our demand forecasting provides data for up to 25 sites and 14 individual weather parameters, hourly up to five days ahead. Additionally we offer probabilistic ensemble forecasts out to 15 days ahead.

Long-term planning

The Met Office provides a monthly outlook in addition to a long-range forecast for contingency planners. Being at the forefront of weather and climate research, we can help the energy industry with long-term planning and climate change adaptation strategies. We can also provide 24/7 consultancy services to support you when you need it.
