Cardiff, the Welsh capital hosts the national stadium for Wales, the Millennium Stadium. Wales will be looking to retain the 6 Nations title for a second year, having won the title in with a Grand Slam in 2012, before winning the 2013 RBS 6 Nations to keeping the title in 2013.
The opening game of the RBS 6 Nations will take place at the Millennium Stadium on the 1 February at 14.30 between Wales and Italy. When these two teams met last year Wales beat Italy 26-9 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The Millennium Stadium can hold sporting events in any weather condition as part of the design, including a retractable roof which allows games to continue.
