Rallying and weather

Although bad weather is unlikely to stop a rally, knowing in advance what the conditions will be are very important for the drivers. Being prepared for slippery, muddy roads or dry roads with dusts clouds can help the teams decide which tyres and which driving styles to adopt.

Knowing if a particular spot on a course is going to turn in a bog means the team can decide where to pick up their speed and where to take a bit easier.
