The William Hill Winter Festival was cancelled due to frost and snow making the event impossible. Kempton Racecourse have announced that the William Hill King George VI Steeple Chase will take place as part of the Super Saturday on 15 January.

Kempton Racecourse hosts the annual William Hill Winter Festival, which for racing fans is a two-day treat. 2009 saw more than 20,000 racing fans see Kuato Star win his fourth successive William Hill King George VI Steeple Chase, beating the record previously held by Desert Orchid.

Feature events on Saturday 15 January include the Christmas Hurdle and the Lanzarote Hurdle.
