Europe's biggest 10km running event, more than a quarter of a million keen runners have so far completed this race, raising an estimated £22 million since the first Great Manchester Run.
On 18 May runners will start on Portland Street, running past Old Trafford and finishing on Deansgate.
With average temperatures of 15.9°C usual for Manchester in May, runners will be hoping it isn't too much warmer, as ideally participants will want a cool and cloudy day, with a light breeze to make for the best running conditions.
First held in 2003, the Bupa Great Manchester Run is now part of a weekend of sport, with the Bupa Mini and Junior Great Manchester Run taking place on Saturday 17 May alongside the Great CityGames.
