The Eden Project Marathon and half marathon are now in their third year and the event continues to grow.
The course takes runners through the extraordinary scenery surrounding the the world famous biomes of the Eden Project as well as through the Cornish countryside.
On the 8th October, the Eden Project will also host a fun run which takes competitors on a mile long route through the biomes of the Eden Project.
9 October - It may be hot in the Eden biome but will the conditions be cool for the runners at the Eden Marathon?
The route for the full and half marathons is a challenging one that will take runners through the man made soil heaps of the Cornish clay country, the Luxulyan granite works that have been reclaimed by nature, and the Eden Project - the former china clay pit that now welcomes more than a million visitors a year, which this year has reached its 10th year.
