The BUPA Great Birmingham Run takes place on Sunday 20 October.
Athletes and charity runners alike will complete the half marathon course which starts and finishes in Birmingham City Centre near New Street Station.
18,000 athletes will compete in the largest running event in the Midlands. There will also be a 1.5km and a 2.5km event for children between the ages of 3-8 and 9-16 respectively.
Previously known as the Birmingham Half Marathon, the event has been taking place since 2008 and in 2009 was part of the World Half Marathon Championships.
Runners will be hoping for cool, cloudy conditions with a slight breeze. Our Birmingham weather is the one to check for the conditions on race day.
