The Great West Run, now in its 30th year, is back with it's city centre course on 18 October being started by Exeter's four time Olympian Jo Pavey.
3,000 runners will race through the heart of Exeter and complete the half marathon, sponsored by Tozers, in one single lap. The route takes in Exeter City Centre, the University, as well as some beautiful country lanes before finishing back where they began at Sidwell Street.
The course has been designed to provide great running conditions along traffic-free roads that are open for spectator support.
Runners will be hoping for cool, cloudy conditions with a slight breeze. Our Exeter weather is the one to check for the conditions on race day.
