The Great West Run, now in its 28th year, is back with a new city centre course on 13 October.
3,000 runners will race through the heart of Exeter, completing the half marathon in one single lap. The route takes in Exeter City Centre, the University as well as some beautiful country lanes before finishing back where they began at Sidwell Street.
The new course has been designed to provide great running conditions along traffic-free roads that are open for spectator support.
Runners will be hoping for cool, cloudy conditions with a slight breeze. Our Exeter weather is the one to check for the conditions on race day.
