The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Premiere

Fans will line the red carpet whatever the weather

As the sun sets on London, thousands of screaming fans will be lining the red carpet to catch a glimpse of some of the stars of  The Hunger Games movies.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the second story in the best selling trilogy of books written by Suzanne Collins.

The London premiere on November 11 is the world premiere for Catching Fire, before it open in cinemas worldwide on November 22.

Fans will be hoping to see the stars that play their favourite characters, Katniss, Gale and Peeta in the film, as they promote the film prior to release in the UK.

The final book in the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay, is being split into two separate films with releases expected in November 2014 and 2015.

Film Premieres and the Weather

Fans will do anything to catch a glimpse of their favourite movie stars, including camping outside film premiere venues for days on end to be at the front of the crash barrier alongside the red carpet.

Film premieres draw in huge crowds worldwide, and the release of this sequel to last year's The Hunger Games will be no exception. Fan groups are planning their trips to the premiere via social media already.

November evenings can be very chilly, so wrap up warm if you are preparing to head to the premiere.
