Johnstone Paint Trophy

Wembley Stadium

Events calendar sponsored by AVIS

The Johnstone Paint Trophy final has been a fixture on the football calendar since the 1983-84 season. This year's final will take place on Sunday 25 March 2012 at the home of football in England - Wembley Stadium.

Last year's winners were Carlisle United who took the trophy back north after losing the previous year's final.

After winning their semi-finals on aggregate the two teams in this year's final are Swindon Town and Chesterfield. Swindon Town beat Barnet in their semi-final and Chesterfield beat Oldham Athletic to book their place in the final at Wembley.

With a capacity of 90,000, Wembley will be a hive of activity on 25 March, with fans arriving from across the country to support their team.

For further information about the stadium, visit the official Wembley Stadium website.
