Over 35,000 people will be descending on Ebrington Square in Londonderry over the weekend of 24-26 May for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend. For the first time, Radio 1's Big Weekend has been extended to three days for 2013.

The Big Weekend is returning to Northern Ireland after previously being held there in 2004, and this year's event has been planned to coincide with Londonderry being the UK City of Culture for 2013.
