London Christmas Lights - Regent Street

Christmas shoppers taking in the festive lights

Christmas will officially arrive on Regent Street, London on 9 November with the Christmas lights switch-on.

A London tradition since 1948, the Christmas lights switch on on Regent Street attracts thousands of shoppers to central London each year.

This year will be no different as Regent Street will have secured a star-studded line up of talent, and for the first time, it is to be an all day event with a traffic-free day of entertainment and lots of Christmas shopping.

The day will begin with a fashion show along Regent Street at 3pm, with plenty of famous fashion brands set to show off their latest collections.

Presenters Emma Bunton and Jamie Theakston will then present the evening entertainment, which will no doubt contain a line-up not to miss.
