The 2015 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship will be spread over 12 rounds, on 10 different tracks, between April and October and will be competed for by almost 40 riders.
Shane Byrne won the championship in 2014 to give him his fourth title and will be hoping to defend his crown on his Kawasaki Superbike.
Round 1 of the Championship will take place on 4-6 April 2015 at the Donington Park Circuit in Leicestershire. Ryuichi Kiyonari, on his BMW, won both races at this venue last year and will be hoping for a repeat performance. The weekend also includes the Motorpoint British Supersport, Superstock 600 & 1000, and Motostar races.

4-6 April - Check the Donington Park forecast for the British Superbike Championships.
The Grand Prix Circuit at Donington, which is being used for Round 1 of the British Superbike Championship, has hosted the British Motorcycle Grand Prix since 1987. It is just over 4 kilometres in length and contains 12 turns. Over the years the circuit has hosted, amongst others, Formula 1 races, the World Touring Car Championships and MotoGP but has also been the location of several music festivals.
For further information about the circuit and venue can be found on the Donington website.
Superbike races have been affected by extreme weather in the past. In 2006 the conditions were described as 'treacherous due to heavy rain and hail' and in 2013 heavy rain on the Friday led to slippery conditions for Saturday's races.
