Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day

Celebrated on the 14 February each year, Valentine's Day celebrates the love and affection between a couple. The day is named after either an individual or a group of Christian martyrs called Valentines. The day is marked by the sending of gifts and cards to a loved one, including flowers and chocolates.

City breaks are a very popular way to spend Valentine's Day, often surprising partners with a weekend getaway. Whether that be a short flight to Paris or Rome or visiting one of the romantic sites within the UK.
