Leisure forecast guide

We provide a range of forecasts for different leisure activities helping you plan your days out.

The leisure forecast page provides forecasts for a range of different leisure venues including beaches, places of interest and national parks. These include specific content depending on the type of location e.g. tide times and sea state information for beach locations. This is an area we plan to expand in the future.

Select the appropriate location and your choice of forecast location from the list provided before clicking on the 'save' button. Alternatively you can select from your list of favourite locations. By clicking on the 'star' you are able to save up to 5 favourite locations.

Forecasts are provided in three hourly time steps for the next five days and include weather, temperature, wind speed and direction, UV feels like temperature and specialist information depending on the type of location.

Use the tabs above the table to display the forecast for that day. The tabs also give an overview summary of the weather for that day.

You can use the customise button to choose which units are used on your forecast display e.g. Celsius or Fahrenheit for temperature. Additionally, you can select 'Options' to drag and drop columns or close them completely to modify the layout of the table and ensure you only see the information in which you are interested.

These are provided for the National Parks of the UK and The Mournes in Northern Ireland and consist of a short 20 word script of the that area of the current day. To view a National Park forecast, select National Parks from the Map Menu and then click on a highlighted region on the map. The forecast will then be displayed in the central panel.
