Valley mist, fog and low cloud are likely to be quite widespread at first and this is likely to be quite slow to lift, and may persist into the afternoon in places, mainly in the east of the area. A dry day generally then, with some spells of hazy sunshine in places, before more general cloud spreads over from the west later in the afternoon.

A grey rather damp misty morning, with low cloud covering much of the higher ground. Becoming dry and brighter, with the low cloud lifting for the afternoon, but thickening cloud may later bring rain to some western parts around dusk. Light, variable winds but freshening from the southeast later.

Dydd Iau

Sunny intervals and showers, some of which could be heavy in the south and west of the area, and then with more prolonged rain likely to spread from the southwest around dusk. Moderate to fresh south or southwest winds becoming strong to gale south to southeast later.

Dydd Gwener

Perhaps a dry start but cloudy generally, with rain spreading across the whole area and becoming heavy. The rain will be accompanied by an increasing south to southwest wind which is likely to reach gale or even severe gale force later in the day, along with extensive hill fog.
