Overcast with heavy rain at first and extensive hill fog. Rain continues for the rest of the morning but eases by the afternoon, with drier and brighter weather moving in from the west before the end of the day.

Extensive hill fog above 300 metres will persist throughout the morning. It will begin to lift and break in the afternoon with only occasional hill fog at around 600 metres likely by the end of the day.
