Although most parts staying dry it will be a much more cloudy day, with any sunshine probably restricted to the south of the park. Winds similar in strength to Wednesday but from more of a westerly direction, and this helping temperatures at height to be significantly less cold than Wednesday, probably rising to a degree or two above freezing.

Visibility

Generally very good but very poor in hill fog.

Hill fog

Occasional, possibly widespread, hill fog above around 300m is likely to develop through in the day.

A cloudy day, with outbreaks of rain, sleet or snow, some of which may be heavy, and with rather strong southerly or southwesterly winds, particularly over the higher peaks. Any snow will be mostly over the higher ground or in the east of the area. Widespread hill fog likely above 100 m. Freezing level may rise above the summits.

Saturday

Cloudy skies and with any outbreaks of rain dying out. Once again hill fog is likely to be widespread and above only 100 to 200m, but mainly southerly winds should be lighter. Freezing level above the summits.

Sunday

Another rather cloudy and dull day with widespread hill fog likely once again. Still the risk of a little rain, although it is likely to be light and patchy. Winds remaining light and mainly from the west or southwest. Freezing level just above the summits.
