Mostly cloudy but generally dry, and staying cloudy for the most part. Any brightness is likely to be confined to eastern parts of the Park later in the day. Icy conditions likely, especially at first and on higher peaks, where snow cover remains.
Mainly moderate or good, but poor or very poor in or near hill fog, especially during the morning.
Likely to be widespread above 300-400m at first but lifting and breaking to ragged or well broken above 500 metres by the afternoon.
Southerly or southeasterly 30 mph.
| Valleys | Rising to no higher than plus 2 Celsius. |
| 700 m | Minus 4 Celsius. |
| Freezing level | around 300m at the highest |
A very cold rather cloudy but dry day, with a few bright or sunny spells, with the best of the sunshine in the south and east. Early morning cloud may be low enough to give some isolated hill fog for a time. Winds will become generally light and rather more variable in direction. Icy conditions where any lying snow remains.
Good to very good.
Perhaps some well broken hill fog above around 300m at first, but soon clearing.
Variable, becoming northwest, 15 mph.
| Valleys | Minus 7, struggling to reach zero Celsius at best. |
| 700 m | Minus 3 Celsius. |
| Freezing level | all levels at first, rising to no more than 300 metres. |
A cloudy day with outbreaks of rain or sleet, so perhaps rather wintry on the higher parts at times. Hill fog is likely, largely from mid levels upwards. Winds will be generally light once again and mainly from the northwest. The freezing level may creep just above the summits later.
Another cloudy but increasingly windy day, with outbreaks of rain or drizzle developing, and with the freezing level above the summits. Less cold than of late, allowing any remaining snow and ice cover to thaw.
A brighter day with sunny intervals and with scattered showers, these especially in the west of the Park. A strong northerly or northwesterly wind will be accompanied by falling temperatures, bringing an increasing risk of wind chill.
