Sunny spells initially but cloud amounts soon increasing with occasional showers developing. A few heavy showers are likely, particularly during the late morning with a risk of hail and lightning. There is also a chance of some wet snow above 500 metres. Strong, gusty northwesterly winds and feeling cold. Chance of some more persistent rain arriving from the northeast towards dusk with a continued risk of wet snow over the highest parts. Feeling very cold in the strong to gale winds with a significant wind chill likely.

Generally good but falling to moderate or poor in showers.

Mainly nil but ragged patches may form above 600 metres in heavy showers.
