Cloudy overnight with further outbreaks of rain, these mainly over Argyll and Lochaber. A cloudy day with rain over Argyll and Skye where it will persist throughout the day and move north into the Northwest Highlands. A few sunny intervals possible over Ben Wyvis and hills of Caithness especially in the morning. Very wet underfoot with rivers and burns in full spate.
Moderate or good, falling poor in rain.
Generally occasional or persistent at 500 to 700 metres, in the west leading to navigational difficulties. Patches around 800 metres over the northeast .

Southwest 50 to 60, gusts 75 mph, perhaps gusts 90mph over the exposed ridges and summits of Skye and the Northwest Highlands.
