Weather

It will be rather cloudy at first and there may even be a few spots of light rain, mainly over Argyll and the Trossachs. This will soon die out and it will become brighter with sunny spells developing across all ranges.

Visibility

Generally good with hills in the near to middle distance clearly visible but rather hazy towards the far distance. Also patches of poorer visibility at first in association with any rain.

Hill fog

Occasional fog above about 700 to 800M during first half of the morning, mostly dispersing by the afternoon.

Maximum wind speeds above 600m

Winds staying light across the tops, generally southwesterly with average speeds of 10 to 15mph.

Temperatures

Glens - Plus 3 Celsius at dawn rising to 16 Celsius.
900 m - Plus 7 Celsius.
Freezing level - Staying well above the summits.
