Thursday

The northerly airstream will turn even colder and stronger still so some sleet or snow showers and gales causing severe wind chill. Some sunny spells too, mainly in the south. Freezing level 600m in north and 800m in south and falling in showers.

Friday

A mainly dry and bright day with some sunny spells. Much lighter winds. Freezing level 800m rising 1100m.

Saturday

Becoming cloudier from the west with outbreaks of rain, this accompanied by extensive hill fog and poor visibilities. Winds will be very light.
