Cloudy and cold, with showers, merging into prolonged spells of rain, with a risk of hail and thunder. Strong winds, with gales at first near the coast and over high ground. Winds gradually easing, showers dying out into the evening. Maximum Temperature 11 C.

Tonight:

A few showers still possible at first, but these dying out to leave a dry and cold night with clear spells developing and light winds. Minimum Temperature 4 C.

Saturday:

A dry day with variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells. Feeling much warmer in light winds. Maximum Temperature 17 C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Dry and bright on Sunday. Dry start on Monday but cloud increasing during the day, with some rain arriving later. Remaining unsettled into Tuesday. Chilly with slight overnight frosts.
