Be aware

Valid from 05:00 on Monday until 11:00 on Monday

Showers are expected to drift across parts of eastern Humberside, eastern Lincolnshire and northern East Anglia during Monday morning. These will fall onto frozen surfaces leading to icy stretches forming in places. The public should take extra care and be aware of the possibility of some disruption to travel.

Chief Forecaster's assessment

Showers currently over the North Sea are expected to drift across parts of eastern England during this morning. With surfaces widely below freezing this is expected to lead to icy stretches forming in places. Surface temperatures are expected to slowly rise through this morning to above freezing by 11AM.
