UK forecast for the next 5 days

Most places dry tonight with some clear spells.

This Evening and Tonight:

Early isolated showers will die away during the evening leaving a mostly fine end to the day. Overnight most places will be dry and quite chilly with clear spells, although increasing cloud will bring patchy rain to East Anglia later.

Wednesday:

A cloudier and cooler day, particularly in the east. Outbreaks of rain will spread westwards across northern and central England, perhaps heavy later in the northeast. Elsewhere remaining mainly dry.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Rain across central parts gradually easing on Thursday. Mostly dry and bright thereafter, but with scattered showers in the south, these probably locally heavy and thundery at times. Turning warmer.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Sunday 29 May 2016 to Tuesday 7 Jun 2016:

Much of the United Kingdom, especially the northwest, will see dry, bright and reasonably warm weather over the Bank Holiday weekend. However some parts of both Wales and the southern half of England will have scattered heavy showers in between bright or sunny spells, with hail and thunder likely. There is also a chance that more widespread rain and strong winds will move in from the continent to affect southern and eastern areas later on. Then next week it will start unsettled across central, southern and eastern parts with showers or longer spells of rain, again probably heavy and thundery in places. However as the week goes on it looks likely that more settled conditions will encroach from the west and north and become established through into the following week.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 8 Jun 2016 to Wednesday 22 Jun 2016:

Currently it looks likely that generally settled conditions will continue through the first half of June. Thus we can expect a good deal of dry and bright weather for most, particularly in the northwest, but with a few wetter intervals mixed in, these potentially thundery. The temperature will most likely be a bit warmer than the June average on the whole, especially in the west and south. Then as we head towards the latter part of June there are currently no strong signals for any weather out of the ordinary, although there remains a small chance of more unsettled conditions becoming established.
