Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 23 Aug 2017 to Friday 1 Sep 2017:

Wednesday is likely to see a mixture of sunshine and showers, with winds become quite strong in the north and east. Thursday should then see the showers become restricted to the north, with some sunshine elsewhere. Through the rest of next week, it is likely to be rather changeable in the north with spells of rain, but further south may stay drier and more settled initially, before the changeable weather in the north become more widespread. For the rest of the period, it is most likely that many areas will see spells of cloud and rain at times, interspersed with a few days of brighter, showery conditions. Temperatures look set to be around average for the time of year, although it could turn warm in the south at times.

UK Outlook for Saturday 2 Sep 2017 to Saturday 16 Sep 2017:

As we head into September, we are most likely to see changeable weather conditions dominating across the UK. However, there is a chance of some more prolonged dry and fine weather at times too. As a result, on balance there are likely to be spells of rain and strong winds at times, especially across the north and west, probably interspersed with several days of brighter and showery weather. Temperatures may become warm or very warm at times, especially in the south. However, they will probably remain generally close to normal for the time of year elsewhere.
