Any light rain or drizzle will clear from the east coast early this evening to give a dry night with some clear spells. Fresh north or northwesterly winds around the Antrim and Derry coasts, but lighter inland. Minimum Temperature 7°C.

Saturday:

It will be a dry day with sunny spells. Best of the sunshine will be during the morning. Gradually clouding over in the afternoon. Northwesterly winds will ease down. Maximum Temperature 17°C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

A settled spell of weather for the end of the weekend and into the start of next week. It will be mainly dry with light winds and some sunny spells.

This Evening and Tonight:

Overnight, mainly light showery rain will spread to England and Wales whilst drier and clearer conditions will follow from the north, where perhaps a touch of frost is possible.

Saturday:

Some early rain in the south of England. The odd shower developing, otherwise a predominantly dry day with some sunny spells. Light winds inland but noticeably breezy around the coasts.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Mostly dry with variable cloud amounts, though there should be some spells of sunshine, but chilly nights also. Temperatures gradually rising, becoming near to normal, feeling pleasant in the sun.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 9 Sep 2015 to Friday 18 Sep 2015:

Initially settled with light winds and variable amounts of cloud allowing some sunshine by day and clear spells by night. Mist and fog patches are likely to form in rural areas during the nights but these will clear fairly readily in the mornings. The afternoon temperature should be close to normal and it should feel pleasant in any sunshine. During the nights and mornings however it will be chilly with ground frosts expected in rural areas. Then as we head towards the weekend the latest indications are that more unsettled and windier conditions may well move in from the west. Changeable conditions are then expected during the following week, but with eastern areas possibly remaining dry for much of the time.

UK Outlook for Saturday 19 Sep 2015 to Saturday 3 Oct 2015:

The second half of September is likely to see the east holding on to the best of the drier weather, although with occasional unsettled spells developing here, while the northwest sees more regular outbreaks of rain and stronger winds. Temperatures are likely to be generally close to average for much of the time, although both cooler and warmer intervals are possible. By the end of the month there is a small chance of some more settled warmer conditions becoming established again.
