Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Monday 10 Aug 2015 to Wednesday 19 Aug 2015:

A generally warm and dry start to the week in the south, but it will be cloudier across northern and central areas with rain at times. It will also feel breezy around northern parts, with gales possible in the far northwest. This pattern will continue for much of the period with the north seeing wet and windy spells, although there will be some sunny breaks, especially in the east. The south will continue to see the best of the dry and settled weather, but with some cloudier periods, and a small chance of thunderstorms at times. Temperatures will be just around normal for the time of year in the north, but above average in the south and southeast, with a small chance of some hot spells here.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 19 Aug 2015 to Wednesday 2 Sep 2015:

Southern and eastern parts will continue to see the best of any dry and bright spells, with northern areas likely to see more in the way of cloudier, showery weather. However, the north is also likely to see some spells of more settled, drier and brighter weather and the south could still see the occasional brief showery interlude. Temperatures will generally be near normal in the north, but could be locally warm in any brighter periods. The south will generally be warm, with some periods of very warm weather possible.
