Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Sunday 5 Jul 2015 to Tuesday 14 Jul 2015:

Many places will have a dry morning on Sunday, with sunny spells. However, some showers may develop during the afternoon, mainly in the north and the west. Temperatures will generally be near or just above average, though perhaps still very warm in the southeast. From the new working week onwards, there is an increasing risk of some rain spreading into the west and northwest at times, but most places look to stay mainly fine and dry, especially in the far south and southeast. Temperatures will remain near or slightly above average for many, though the very warm and humid conditions could perhaps return to the south and southeast at times, accompanied by some heavy showers or thunderstorms.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 15 Jul 2015 to Wednesday 29 Jul 2015:

Many southern and central parts of the UK are likely to be mainly dry, often with fine, warm conditions. Towards the north and northwest there is more of a risk of seeing spells of more unsettled weather, however any periods of rain may well be less frequent than normal with some good periods of dry weather expected here as well. Temperatures are likely to be near or a little above average in the northwest, but in the southeast it will be very warm for the time of year, and could possibly become hot at times. With these warmer temperatures there is a continued low risk of occasional thundery outbreaks, especially in the southeast.
