UK forecast for the next 5 days

Rain pushing southeast overnight, with colder and clearer conditions following.

This Evening and Tonight:

Band of rain in the northwest will move southeast during the night, reaching southeast England shortly before dawn. It will be mild with extensive low cloud in advance of it. To its rear, becoming clearer and colder with scattered showers.

Monday:

Cloud and rain clearing the far southeast around lunchtime, leaving a largely fine day with sunny spells. However, scattered showers will affect northern parts, these wintry in the far north.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Rain and strong winds in the northwest later Tuesday will push southeast overnight, clearing the southeast during Wednesday. Colder, windier weather follows with snow showers spreading from the northwest.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 30 Jan 2015 to Sunday 8 Feb 2015:

Sunny spells and blustery wintry showers Friday, the latter primarily affecting northern and western parts with snow across hills and to low levels in the north. It will likely turn even colder through the weekend with sleet and snow showers, frequent across northern parts, with overnight frost and ice. Strong northerly winds, with gales in places, will accentuate the cold with a significant wind chill. The best of the drier, brighter conditions will be in the south. These conditions may well last into the first week of February, but there are signs of more changeable weather by the end of the forecast period. By then, spells of wind and rain would mean that temperatures may return to nearer normal and the likelihood of snow, frost and ice would be lower.

UK Outlook for Monday 9 Feb 2015 to Monday 23 Feb 2015:

It looks most likely that unsettled conditions will continue across much of the UK with temperatures closer to normal when compared to the start of February. This may be more obvious across parts of southern and western Britain where it might be a little wetter than average as spells of wind and rain make their way in from the Atlantic.
