It will be a cool, dry start to the day with the best of any hazy sunshine across the north. It will gradually turn cloudier from the south during the afternoon, with outbreaks of rain possible, mainly in the south. Maximum Temperature 19°C.

Tonight:

A dry evening for most, and remaining dry for much of the night. However, later in the night outbreaks of rain are likely to spread from the south. Minimum Temperature 9°C.

Monday:

It will be a cloudy day, with outbreaks of rain becoming persistent through the morning, perhaps turning heavy at times. Becoming breezy, and feeling cool in the cloud and rain. Maximum Temperature 17°C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Rain gradually clearing Tuesday morning, with scattered showers following. A chilly start Wednesday then sunny spells and isolated showers. Similar on Thursday, with winds easing. Cool with chilly nights.

Sunday:

Still breezy in the far north with scattered showers affecting Northern Ireland and Scotland. Cloudy at times further south with some showery rain, occasionally heavy later. Humid in the southeast.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Rain across southern and eastern parts Monday gradually clearing, with drier, brighter conditions following Tuesday. Showers in the north slowly ease. Some pleasant sunshine, but chilly nights developing for all.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 3 Sep 2015 to Saturday 12 Sep 2015:

The gradual change to more settled conditions across the UK continues with plenty of dry and bright weather across much of the UK through the weekend, however there will still be the odd shower around at first, especially towards the southeast. The mostly fine and dry weather is expected to continue through until the middle of September, however there is a risk that more unsettled conditions, with further spells of rain, could push into northwestern parts early next week. Temperatures on the whole will be slightly below average, although it will feel pleasantly warm in the sunny spells and light winds. Overnight temperatures throughout the period are likely to be on the chilly side, with a risk of localised rural frost and fog patches, mainly in the north.

UK Outlook for Sunday 13 Sep 2015 to Sunday 27 Sep 2015:

The generally settled and fine conditions are expected to continue across Southeastern parts of the UK through much of September, with plenty of dry and sunny weather, and only a low risk of short lived spells of cloud and rain. In contrast it is likely to remain on the unsettled side in the Northwest for the majority of the month, with occasional bouts of rain and strong winds likely. Temperatures will generally be around average in most parts, but feeling warm under any prolonged sunny periods in the Southeast by day, with some chilly nights in the North.
