Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 10 Feb 2016 to Friday 19 Feb 2016:

Wednesday should be dry, bright and cold for most areas, however outbreaks of rain and strengthening winds will extend northeastwards across England and Wales overnight into Thursday. Thereafter it will be generally unsettled across all parts with further spells of cloud and rain interspersed by colder, brighter, showery conditions, the showers turning wintry at times in the north. The wettest weather will always tend to be over western hills. It may be very windy with gales or severe gales at times, most likely across northern and western parts. Temperatures are expected to be mainly near normal, however some colder spells with overnight frost are possible, mainly in the north. There is only a low probability of any more settled weather developing for a time late next week.

UK Outlook for Saturday 20 Feb 2016 to Saturday 5 Mar 2016:

The latest indications are that the latter half of February will be dominated by changeable weather coming in from the Atlantic, bringing showers or longer spells of rain to most parts, wettest in northern and western areas. Some snow is likely at times, mainly over northern hills. Temperatures should generally be near normal for the time of year, however occasional frosty nights are possible at where skies become clear, Generally windy with gales or even severe gales at times, mainly in northern and western parts. By early March there is a possibility of more settled weather becoming established across southern and eastern areas, bringing drier and less windy conditions here. However, wet and windy weather will most likely persistent in the north and west.
