Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 23 Feb 2017 to Saturday 4 Mar 2017:

A changeable and quite mobile weather pattern is most likely as we head towards March. Wind and rain is expected to move across the UK on Thursday, followed by a brighter, colder, more showery but still windy day on Friday. A frosty start is expected on Saturday but during that weekend another band of wind and rain is expected to move in. However, the south and east of the UK should see the best of any dry and bright weather. Although cold at first, temperatures show signs of edging upwards again as we move through Sunday and into the following week. Weather-wise, a recurring pattern of bands of rain followed by brighter, more showery days is most likely.

UK Outlook for Sunday 5 Mar 2017 to Sunday 19 Mar 2017:

For early March there is a fair amount of uncertainty, but the weather is most likely to be unsettled. There will be spells of wet and windy weather, interspersed with brighter and showery conditions with some snow possible across the north of the UK. There will, however, also be some drier and brighter spells, particularly in the south and east where we may see some local frost and fog at times overnight. Temperatures are expected to be a little above normal for the time of year but there remains a small chance of seeing a more prolonged cold spell, which is most probable later in the period.
