UK Outlook for Monday 30 May 2016 to Wednesday 8 Jun 2016:
Much of the United Kingdom, especially the northwest, will see dry, bright and reasonably warm weather for the end of May. Southeastern areas, however, should be cloudier and cooler, and increasingly likely to see outbreaks of rain, which could turn heavy and thundery and perhaps more prolonged for a time, accompanied by strengthening winds. This pattern of weather looks to continue for the start of June, with showers or longer spells of rain most likely in the east and southeast, with the best of the warmer, drier and brighter weather in the west and northwest. However, there is a signal for the weather to become more generally drier and brighter across the UK towards the end of the period, although there remains a threat of showers in the south.

UK Outlook for Thursday 9 Jun 2016 to Thursday 23 Jun 2016:
Currently it looks likely that generally settled conditions will continue through the start of this period. This means we can expect a good deal of dry and bright weather for many parts of the country, particularly in the north and northwest. There will probably be some wetter intervals mixed in, these most likely in the south, where they could turn thundery at times. Towards mid-to-late June, there is a chance that more unsettled conditions could become established, although the timing and likelihood of this change remains uncertain. Temperatures, on the whole, will probably be slightly above the June average, especially in the west and south.
