Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 30 Jun 2016 to Saturday 9 Jul 2016:

There continues to be a signal for changeable and often unsettled weather across most parts of the country through this period. Bands of rain will push eastwards to affect most parts, these interspersed with drier and brighter periods, but also some showers. Showers could be heavy at times with a risk of thunder. The wettest weather is likely in the north and west where it will occasionally be windy too, whilst the south and east will see the best of any drier spells along with generally lighter winds. Temperatures on the whole are expected to be near average for the time of year, but feeling cool in any wetter and winder spells. Conversely, it will feel warm in any drier and sunnier periods, especially in the south and east.

UK Outlook for Sunday 10 Jul 2016 to Sunday 24 Jul 2016:

The changeable weather pattern is likely to persist at first with rain or showers across many areas, particularly the north and west, and temperatures near average. Around the middle of July a more settled spell of weather could develop, potentially bringing longer dry periods to much of the country. With this change there would most likely be more in the way of sunshine with some locally warm temperatures and lighter winds. There is also the possibility of more humid continental air moving up across the southeast at times, bringing a risk of some thundery showers here.
