Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Sunday 18 Oct 2015 to Tuesday 27 Oct 2015:

High pressure looks likely to remain close to or just west of the UK for much of this period with generally settled weather continuing. Most places will be dry with variable, but often large amounts of cloud and some sunny or clear spells. Southern areas may see some sporadic rain at times with a chilly northeasterly breeze. Northern areas are likely to see the brightest conditions. Temperatures are likely to vary but will probably be largely below average with frosty mornings at times and also some overnight mist or fog. Towards the end of this period there is an increasing chance that unsettled weather will move in from the northwest bringing a return to temperatures closer to the seasonal average.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 28 Oct 2015 to Wednesday 11 Nov 2015:

The weather for the end of October and into early November looks very uncertain at this stage with a number of possibilities across the UK at this time. The most probable trend, however, is for the northwest of the UK to see the bulk of any wet and windy weather, with the southeast drier and more settled, although here there are still likely to be occasional showers or spells of rain. There is always a possibility of a generally drier spell becoming re-established during November. Temperatures look likely to be around the seasonal average, with milder spells interspersed by colder spells.
