    A chilly start with a few mist patches. These will soon clear to leave a dry and sunny day, although cloud will bubble up a little during the afternoon. Feeling warm inland but fresher near coasts with a light breeze. Maximum Temperature 16C.

    Tonight:

    A bright evening with some late sunshine followed by a dry night with clear spells. A few mist and fog patches developing and becoming quite chilly around Enniskillen and Katesbridge. Minimum Temperature 1C.

    Wednesday:

    A dry day with light winds and warm sunny spells developing inland. Cooler around the coasts with low cloud and patchy mist and fog occasionally affecting the North Coast. Maximum Temperature 17C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Sunny spells on Thursday and feeling quite warm, but patchy mist around coasts. Cloudy Friday with outbreaks of rain. Cooler Saturday with rain followed by sunshine and scattered showers.

    Many places dry and warm with plenty of sunshine.

    Today:

    Low cloud and patchy fog across eastern parts of England will soon lift and break, leaving most places warm and dry with long sunny spells. However, the far north of Scotland will turn cloudier with a little rain.

    Tonight:

    It will be chilly for many with clear periods, although probably somewhat cloudier across parts of northern and eastern Britain. A little rain is possible across the far north.

    Wednesday:

    Warm and dry for most again but with a little more cloud around than recently. The best of the sunshine will be across western Britain.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Mostly fine on Thursday. More unsettled on Friday and Saturday, with fresher winds, outbreaks of rain and heavy showers at times. Some sunshine is still likely though.

    UK Outlook for Saturday 25 Apr 2015 to Monday 4 May 2015:

    It is likely to be unsettled throughout Saturday and Sunday with spells of showery rain and breezy conditions affecting many regions. During the rest of the period, most areas will be affected by bouts of unsettled weather with showers and longer spells of rain. Some heavy showers are possible, and during the last few days of April, some of the showers may also be wintry over hills. In spite of the rain and showers there should be some brighter periods too. Conditions are also likely to turn cooler than of late during late April, more especially in the north, and this change may happen as early as next weekend. Windy at times too, especially in the north.

    UK Outlook for Tuesday 5 May 2015 to Tuesday 19 May 2015:

    The unsettled conditions that will become established during late April are likely to persist into early May. Beyond this, there are no strong signals regarding likely weather types. As such, the most likely scenario is for weather conditions during this period to be fairly typical for the time of year with spells of fine and bright weather interspersed with occasional bouts of more unsettled and changeable conditions. Daytime temperatures are likely to be above average when conditions are fine and near or a little below average during unsettled weather. As is common for the time of year, spells of settled weather may be accompanied by chilly evenings with isolated overnight frost in rural areas.
