Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Sunday 29 Nov 2015 to Tuesday 8 Dec 2015:

Strong north-westerly winds across the UK on Sunday will bring a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers to most parts, as well as some sleet and hill snow to the north. Monday looks set to be a cloudier day with rain for many areas before becoming drier later. Then from Tuesday onwards, a succession of Atlantic weather systems are likely to spread across the UK from the west. Northern areas are likely to bear the brunt of these, with the strongest winds and heaviest rain as well as some sleet or hill snow. Between systems, most areas will have some drier and brighter periods, the best of these in the south. Temperatures will generally be around normal, although feel colder in exposure due to the strength of the wind.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 9 Dec 2015 to Wednesday 23 Dec 2015:

Often unsettled through mid-December across the UK. Showers or longer spells of rain will affect most parts as Atlantic weather systems continue to move in from the west, these bringing periods of strong winds or gales. Temperatures are likely to be around average or slightly above, although night frosts are likely in clearer periods between weather systems.
