    Tonight will be generally milder than last night. Cloudy skies at first, although this tending to melt away overnight, leading to perhaps another patchy frost forming in some rural spots. Minimum Temperature 4 °C.

    Thursday:

    More in the way of sunshine tomorrow, although once again cloud will tend to build through the day. Warmer than yesterday and feeling pleasant with light winds across the region. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Temperatures gradually increasing over the next few days, with some sunshine, turning hazy at times. Some rain over the weekend interspersed with sunny spells, and maybe some thundery showers too.

    Dry with sunny spells for most. Feeling warmer.

    Today:

    After a chilly start, most places will have a fine and dry day with plenty of warm sunshine. However, cloud and outbreaks of rain will slowly spread southeastwards across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland as the day progresses.

    Tonight:

    Patchy rain will continue to spread south into northern England, with clear spells following and with some showers possible in the far northwest. Elsewhere will be dry with clear skies.

    Thursday:

    Most places will be fine and dry, with plenty of warm sunshine, albeit rather hazy at times. Thicker cloud with outbreaks of rain possible across the far northwest of Scotland.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Fine and warm for most on Friday with the odd shower possible across northern Scotland. Staying warm into the weekend, but an increasing risk of some thundery showers developing.

    UK Outlook for Monday 9 May 2016 to Wednesday 18 May 2016:

    Most parts will very warm with some good sunny spells on Monday and Tuesday, although some heavy and thundery showers may affect the southwest, with a small risk of these showers developing elsewhere. Fog in the North Sea may also come onshore onto eastern coasts at times. Through the second half of next week northern parts are likely to become mainly dry, although thundery showers, or longer spells of rain may affect the south at times. Sea fog could continue to affect some eastern coasts Mainly dry and settled weather is then expected through to the middle of May with above average temperatures at first, although temperatures could return to near normal later, with perhaps more changeable weather spreading into the northwest.

    UK Outlook for Thursday 19 May 2016 to Thursday 2 Jun 2016:

    There is some uncertainty through this period but the most likely scenario is for mainly dry weather with sunny spells to persist in the south and east. More changeable weather is expected in the north and west with showers or longer spells of rain, interspersed by some drier and brighter conditions. Temperatures are likely to be near normal, though perhaps becoming warm later towards the southeast.
