UK forecast for the next 5 days

Cloudier and less hot than yesterday. Thundery showers for some.

    Today:

Warm and largely fine, although much less hot than yesterday for many. It'll be a cloudier day too, with the risk of thundery showers throughout; this mainly across the south at first, and towards northern parts later in the day.

A fresher start than on previous days, with sunny spells for most. It'll turn increasingly warm and humid later though, especially across the south, with thundery rain spreading north later.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Rain, locally heavy with thunder, clearing the north during Saturday, with drier, fresher, breezier conditions following. Further warm sunshine Sunday and Monday, though with scattered showers, mainly north and west.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 7 Jul 2015 to Thursday 16 Jul 2015:

Rather cloudy at first on Tuesday, and breezy generally, with a band of rain moving eastwards across the country, clearing by the afternoon to leave a mixture of sunshine and showers, heaviest in the west. Further showers on Wednesday most frequent and heavy in the north-west and staying breezy. Becoming more settled across most parts going into the weekend with the south of the country likely to see some fine dry weather once again. Probably turning more unsettled across the country from the north-west by the end of the period. Temperatures around or just below average through the period, though towards the weekend some very warm, humid conditions may return to the south and southeast at times with a risk of thunder here.

UK Outlook for Thursday 16 Jul 2015 to Thursday 30 Jul 2015:

Many southern and central parts of the UK are likely to be mostly dry, often with fine, warm conditions. Towards the north and northwest there will be some cloudier conditions with rain at times, occasionally reaching the south east, however even in the northwest any periods of rain may well be less frequent than normal with some good periods of dry weather expected. Temperatures are likely to be around average in the northwest, but in the southeast there may be spells of very warm weather for the time of year, with a low risk of occasional thundery outbreaks, mainly towards the beginning of the forecast period.
