Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 5 Mar 2015 to Saturday 14 Mar 2015:

It should be cold and bright at first on Thursday, then whilst it will likely stay dry and sunny across southern and eastern parts; cloud, rain and strong winds should move into the far northwest. This will slowly sink southeast, later on Thursday and through Friday. It should then become drier and less windy, although further rain is possible in the northwest later on Friday. More changeable conditions with variable cloud and occasional outbreaks of rain or drizzle likely follow over the weekend. Drier conditions look to become more prevalent in the following week with temperatures close to, or slightly above average by day, but with some cold nights in contrast. There could be some cloudier interludes with rain at times, mainly in the northwest.

UK Outlook for Sunday 15 Mar 2015 to Sunday 29 Mar 2015:

In the second half of March it looks probable that there will be higher than average pressure across the whole UK at first, but that this effect would weaken and become more focussed over and to the south of the UK by the end of the period. This would bring generally drier conditions, but it is likely that there would be some cloud at times, with some occasional rain or showers particularly across the north. However, the chance of any prolonged wet and windy weather is fairly small. Temperatures will most likely to be close to average, perhaps slightly below average in the southwest, perhaps bringing some cold nights with the risk of overnight frosts, and maybe with some overnight mist or fog.
