Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 3 Apr 2015 to Sunday 12 Apr 2015:

Many areas away from the far northeast of the UK will probably be dull and cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Good Friday. However, it should be mostly dry during the weekend with variable and often large amounts of cloud. Winds should also be light or moderate and daytime temperatures near or slightly below average. On Easter Monday and Tuesday, thicker cloud, outbreaks of rain and stronger winds may affect western and northwestern parts of Britain but most other areas should be dry with sunny spells. Temperatures show signs of becoming a little above average. Thereafter, northwestern areas are more likely to have the most changeable conditions with spells of rain interspersed with colder, showery weather. Meanwhile, the best of the drier and brighter conditions should be to the southeast.

UK Outlook for Sunday 12 Apr 2015 to Sunday 26 Apr 2015:

The changeable period is expected to continue, with unsettled conditions interspersed with some spells of fine weather. With a westerly weather type most likely showery outbreaks or longer spells of rain are likely to affect parts of the UK throughout the period. These unsettled conditions will be most frequent across the northwest, although extending further south and east at times. There will also be some drier, brighter and settled periods, these most prolonged the south and east, and perhaps also later in the period. Temperatures are expected to remain close to the average for the middle of April. However they will vary from day to day, and there are likely to be some cold nights, especially in the north where localised frosts remain possible.
